CastleParq Gamejam

Learning Through Play?
During our classes, we believe in the "power of play". We understand that learning is not just about textbooks and lectures, but also about engaging, hands-on experiences and making sure that the lesson subject is connected to the digital world that engages our students every day . That’s why we’re excited to announce our upcoming CastleParq - Game Jam!
We also recognize the value of game development in teaching key skills such as problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and of course, coding. Our Game Jam is an extracurricular event where you can apply your knowledge, explore new ideas, and learn in an interactive environment. It also serves as an accessible introduction with one of the biggest industries in the IT field.

Game Jam?
Game Jams are events where participants create a game from scratch in a set amount of time. Participants often work in teams and there is predefined focus or theme for the projects. The goal is not to create a fully functional game, but to be creative and to experiment with new ideas and tools. It’s a challenge, but also a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow. Here’s why we’re organizing this event:
  • Learning through Play: Games are a powerful tool for learning. They offer a fun, engaging way to explore complex concepts and systems. By creating games, you can deepen your understanding of these systems in a hands-on way.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Game development encourages you to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions. It’s a chance to let your creativity shine!
  • Real-World Skills: Beyond the technical skills, you will also learn project management, teamwork, and communication - skills that are crucial in any career.
  • Passion for IT: We want to foster a love for IT and game development. What better way than by making your own game?

  • Registration?
We believe in the potential of every participant and we’re excited to see the amazing games they’ll create. So join us for our CastleParq - Game Jam, where learning and play come together!

Upcoming CastleParq - Game Jam: 2025 - registrations will be opened in the coming months.
